SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it really is alarmed with regard to the superior range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area daily. The service place developed for intervention experiences a substantial influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it complicated to the Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to enable the servicing of all shoppers and improve use of Social Assistance sassa status companies,” the agency said.
